My name is Sarah, and I am a Filipino-American freelance Illustrator + Designer based in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Combining my love for the vividness of life and the unique narratives of people, I enjoy illustrating nature, culture, history, and other enjoyable subject matter - especially when it comes to creating artwork that children and adults alike can enjoy. It is my passion to create impactful and culturally relevant stories and products - be it through animation, children's books, stationery, and more. I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients over the past five years - illustrating over twenty books and designing for various academic curricula for children, including My Name is Cool, You’re More Than a Sprout, and more recently A Child's Introduction to Asian American and Pacific Islander History, set to release in April 2024. When I'm not drawing, I enjoy gardening, dancing, learning more about other cultures, and searching up all the local eats and matcha spots LA has to offer.
